Gujarat Foils Ltd., was incorporated in 1992, the company is involved in manufacturing Aluminium since last 15 years. Gujarat Foils is a manufacturer of rolled products catering to brewery, pharmaceutical, electrical, utensils, general engineering sectors. The company has embarked on Brown Field Expansion to increase capacity further by 20000TPA though the installation of foil capacities through achenbach foil rolling mill and ancillary equipment at investment of Rs 65 crores which is expected to be completed by Oct 09. Now after its expansion the company manufactures about 9000 TPA of different types of bare aluminium foils for various applications in Food, Pharmaceutical, Flexible packaging, Consumer Durables sectors, apart from existing sheet products.
The Company has also entered in Consumer Product Business and is already marketing India's first embossed kitchen Foil "NUTRIWRAP". Gujarat Foils will soon start marketing other consumer products like kitchen container & cling film for food packaging. The manufacturing of kitchen containers will commence by July 09.
Company has signed Rs. 600 crores MOU with Gujarat Government under Vibrant Gujarat initiative for the state of art aluminium sheet rolling plant and captive power plant.
