PackPlus, the total packaging, processing & supply chain event, is back with its Southern edition…
South India, which contributes 22 percent to the country\'s GDP, is estimated to become a USD 700 billion economy in the next five years, and USD 1,200 billion by 2020. The emerging opportunities in the rapid industrialising markets of the region prompted Print-Packaging.Com (P) Ltd. (PPCL) to launch a Southern edition of its premier packaging exhibition at Hyderabad in 2010. And since then this has become an annual event that has been growing rapidly.
The 2012 edition of PackPlus South, the total packaging, processing & supply chain event, is scheduled from 6-9 July 2012 at HITEX International Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad. Presenting ten niche shows under four zones, the Show will host an array of new launches and running machines featured by exhibitors participating from India and the neighbouring countries.
The Packaging Zone featuring India Packaging Show will bring together the worldwide manufacturers and providers of machinery, materials and services for food, pharma and packaging industry.
The Converting Zone will present India Converting Show, India Corrugated Show and India Flexo Show. Package designers & converters; providers of pre-press, printing & converting equipment for flexible packaging, cartons & labels, coating, laminating & finishing equipment, accessories, paper, film & foil, inks & varnishes, cylinders, dies & rollers, materials & supplies.
The Processing Zone will feature Pharma Technology Show, Food Technology Show and Automation 4 Packaging. Exhibitors from various segments including process automation, instrumentation & controls, robotics, motion drive automation, facility management, service & maintenance, software & enterprise solutions, materials & services for food production & processing, brewing & distilling, packaging & storage, conveyance & distribution, pharmaceutical & parapahrmaceutical product process, quality control, environmental control and handling and storage systems will be featured in this zone.
Bulk Pack, India Logistics Show and India AIDC Show make the Supply Chain Zone of the exhibition. Manufactures and providers of rigid packaging, flexible intermediate containers, woven sacks, flexitanks, bulk filling machines, dosing weighing, end of line packaging solutions, finished packaging, barcodes, RFID , material handling, warehousing systems and supply chain designers & integrators will exhibit in this zone.
Key personnel from top and middle management responsible for package development, procurement, production, IT systems and quality control from user industries across the board are targeted to visit the exhibition with a special focus on food, pharmaceuticals, personal care, retail and logistics. Label, package and commercial printers, converters and corrugated packaging manufacturers will also visit in very large numbers.
“PackPlus will pack a twin punch this year with the Southern edition being organized in the month of July at Hyderabad and in the month of December the Show will be held at Greater Noida, New Delhi (NCR). The International Conference- PackAge 2012, will also be held concurrently at both the venues,” said Neetu Arora, Director, PPCL.
